We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting food service operations across various settings such as restaurants, hotels, catering events, and banquet facilities.
Duties
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper storage of clean items
Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas as needed
Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and assisting in food assembly when required
Help with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods
Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishes and assisting with event needs
Skills
Experience or familiarity with food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, catering, or banquet settings
Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
Ability to perform basic cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards
Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks is a plus but not required
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting the overall hospitality experience
