We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting food service operations in a fast-paced setting. Experience in hospitality, food handling, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates during service hours Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work Ensure compliance with health and safety standards related to cleanliness and food handling Assist with catering and banquet setups by providing clean serving ware and maintaining cleanliness throughout events Help maintain overall kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal Support the culinary team with light kitchen duties to ensure smooth operation during service

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is a plus but not mandatory Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support various kitchen functions including bussing and food preparation Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends or evenings if required Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently A positive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
