Duties

Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or assembling ingredients when needed. Support the kitchen team by bussing tables and clearing used dishware during service hours. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Help with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with event-related cleaning tasks. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as bussing or food handling is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a busy environment. Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use. Prior experience in catering, banquet service, or hotel settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
