Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for restoring properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other damages, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the restoration industry, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to help clients recover from property damage. Prior experience in restoration or construction is preferred, but we provide training for the right candidate. A strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Perform water damage restoration, fire damage cleanup, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement as required Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for demolition, cleaning, and repair tasks Assist with construction-related tasks such as drywall repair, painting, and minor repairs during the restoration process Operate equipment safely and efficiently to ensure thorough restoration work Follow safety protocols and industry standards throughout all phases of restoration projects Document work performed and communicate progress with team members and clients Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency

Requirements

Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly desirable IICRC Certification is preferred Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage mitigation, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and use of related equipment Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment safely Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform strenuous tasks for extended periods Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in various work environments Valid driver's license preferred; willingness to travel locally as needed Commitment to safety procedures and industry regulations

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
