West Central Behavioral Health is seeking applicants for a full time

Clinical Director of Child Services.

West Central Behavioral Health, the non-profit community behavioral health center serving lower Grafton County and Sullivan County, New Hampshire, is hiring a Clinical Director to oversee our Child Services program. West Central is dedicated to providing high-quality, person- and family-centered mental and substance use disorder services to underserved individuals of all ages, including our veterans, regardless of their ability to pay.



The Clinical Director oversees and facilitatesday-to-day clinical services within the Child programs. Primary duties center on supervision of clinical supervisors and/or clinical staff and overseeing effective and efficient delivery of services within their program.

Responsibilities: (partial list):

+ Provides clinical and administrative direction for supervisors and/or clinical staff within any program(s) under his/her purview. + Ensures individual and/or group supervision is provided to all clinical staff as appropriate.
+ Maintains a small caseload providing psychotherapy to children and families.
+ Manages the overall flow of client care.
+ Ensures that clinical problems impacting care delivery are solved and that system barriers to meeting client needs are addressed and resolved whenever possible.
+ Provides clinical consultation and support to staff members when acute clinical problems or emergencies arise and supervisors are not otherwise available.
+ Monitors and coaches staff to ensure that they meet all clinical documentation and productivity goals.
+ Ensures staff completes scheduling and billing activities in an accurate and timely manner in keeping with internal standards set for employees in the organization.
+ Provides clinical services as appropriate to meet the clinical and operational needs of a program.
+ Participates in continuous quality improvement activities, including when necessary developing achievable quality improvement plans that are acceptable to the state.
+ Participates in routine program development activities that support both the efficient and effective delivery of services and/or the utilization of agency resources.
Master's degree in mental health discipline. A NH Mental Health license. At least 2 years of related experience.


Required Skills:


Demonstrate effective abilities in the supervision and direction of staff. Must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent customer service skills Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to learn necessary computer and technical skills essential to the position and agency needs. Ability to relate to staff, clients and community around a mental health system.
