Director Engineering Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Engineering we are looking for someone to join our growing Engineering organization to inspire and lead the engineering efforts across multiple products and services while helping to lead Delinea in our development practice. You will partner with empathetic, thoughtful and analytical business and engineering leaders to deliver the next generation of nurturing services to our enterprise customers.

This is a remote role and will have global reports, with a strong preference to candidates with availability to work on the East Coast time zone.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

Lead, inspire and enable a large, diverse, and global group of engineers across several key product portfolios in multiple geographic locations.

Drive a culture of innovative, self-organized, autonomous teams following the latest Agile/Scrum best practices.

Collaborate with product managers and other senior leadership on developing the vision and strategy of products and lead the execution and high-quality delivery of those solutions.

Build, grow, and mentor a high-performing team of leaders and engineers that deliver scalable, reliable, and a high-quality user experience of enterprise software.

Provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching for all staff and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

Partner with Technical Support to resolve customer escalations in a timely manner.

Drive operational excellence in Research and Development, ensuring timely and measurable resolutions.

Be a crucial part of a growing Engineering leadership team where you will contribute, communicate, and collaborate.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:

Bachelor\'s degree Business, Information Technology or Computer Science or other related field and supplemental education / work experience.

6+ years of Engineering leadership roles, managing or overseeing the management of mid to large-scale projects, including complex cross-functional and cross-organizational projects.

10+ years supporting a global, growing Engineering organization.

Experience managing and implementing cloud architectures in a DevOps, agile methodology.

Demonstrated experience attracting, leading, and developing technical staff in a geographically and culturally diverse environment.

Experience recommending new technology and processes that will improve customer service, reduce costs and/or provide a competitive advantage.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven experience articulating technical concepts to all audiences, including C-level executives and customers.

Outstanding interpersonal skills; proven ability to work effectively with technical contributors, management, executive leadership and customers.

Curiosity, with a strong desire to collaborate and jump into cross functional projects.

Bonus if You Have:

Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or MBA highly valued.

Strong tenure within organizations that demonstrates a capacity to effectively build business relationships.
