Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates operating health centers across the U.S. Planned Parenthood Action Fund is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit membership organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education.

PPFA and PPG seeks an experienced and thoughtful Director, Project Management, Global Operations in the Of\xef\xac\x81ce of the Chief Operating Of\xef\xac\x81cer of PPFA. The Of\xef\xac\x81ce of the Chief Operating Of\xef\xac\x81cer drives the operating strategy of PPFA, oversees the central shared services for the national of\xef\xac\x81ce and af\xef\xac\x81liates, and focuses its efforts on our people, our processes, and our technology. This role reports to the Managing Director of the OCOO and is part of the Global Operations team in the Planned Parenthood Global Division of PPFA.

Purpose : The Director will lead and manage projects and activities across Global Operations to drive strategic initiatives to support increasing effectiveness, ef\xef\xac\x81ciency and impact in the work that PPFA and PP Global does. The role is responsible for formalizing Global strategic

planning processes and aligning the development of the strategy across functions, translating it for people across functions and business units, and instilling a practice of strategic business planning in line with the National Of\xef\xac\x81ce\'s strategic plan. This effort will entail incremental long-term change. The role will work closely with the Managing Director and Global Operations leadership team to provide direct support to a diverse portfolio of services for the Operational support to the National Global Of\xef\xac\x81ce.

They will evaluate project needs and ensure our collective work reaches optimal delivery and service levels. This individual will oversee the evaluation of OCOO initiatives at the global level to ensure there are ef\xef\xac\x81ciencies in processes and proper protocols in place. This role will design routine performance monitoring and assess program effectiveness, catalyzing new policies and their implementation to best support organizational priorities and operational needs.

Under the strategic leadership of the Managing Director, Operations, this role partners with leaders and staff in Parenthood Global and the National Of\xef\xac\x81ce Operations units to integrate strategic frameworks and initiatives across the organization to maximize opportunities and create ef\xef\xac\x81ciencies in support of operational excellence and PPFA\'s mission.

Delivery: Responsible for the creation, organization, adaptation, execution and completion of speci\xef\xac\x81c Operations programs. This includes managing relevant stakeholders, setting deadlines, working with a variety of departments in the U.S. and Globally, and communicating with leadership about the state of the projects - ultimately ensuring projects stay on track and on budget, and adjusting if necessary to meet new requirements.

\xe2\x97\x8fDeveloping an approach for the full life cycle of projects (e.g. project initiation, design, execution, and completion), and maintain project management methodologies, standards and tools that will be used within Global Operations

\xe2\x97\x8fSupporting the Global Operations leadership team in delivering exemplary services and support to our constituents within the National Of\xef\xac\x81ce and throughout the Federation.

\xe2\x97\x8fFacilitates the execution of the strategy by working collaboratively with the other Global Management Team members and functional units (ie., Finance, People & Culture, etc.) ensuring that the strategy is communicated and easily understood by all throughout the organization.

\xe2\x97\x8fSupporting the OCOO in delivering exemplary services and support to our constituents within the National Of\xef\xac\x81ce and throughout the Federation.

\xe2\x97\x8fPreparing publications and/or products, to include, but not limited to drafts (correspondence, presentation decks, executive pre-reads), proo\xef\xac\x81ng documents, and producing \xef\xac\x81nal products for the OCOO.

\xe2\x97\x8fMeasuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

\xe2\x97\x8fAttending conferences and training as required to maintain pro\xef\xac\x81ciency

\xe2\x97\x8fIn close collaboration with the Managing Director, Operations, leading change management to cascade organizational policies and plans and contextualizing them for the global context

\xe2\x97\x8fAs part of the senior leadership team in the Global Operations leadership team this role will be responsible for advising on the direction of key projects/ initiatives to meet organizational needs, goals and priorities.

\xe2\x97\x8fWorking closely with our Of\xef\xac\x81ce of the General Counsel and Facilities to manage contract management, including submitting Partner Intake, NDAs, contracts, and Bid Waiver requests, drafting RFPs when necessary, coordinating negotiations and tracking responses.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

\xe2\x97\x8fBachelor\'s degree required. Master\'s degree in Business or Management a plus

\xe2\x97\x8fSigni\xef\xac\x81cant project management experience (at least 10 years)

\xe2\x97\x8f5+ years of direct work experience in international development, preferably in reproductive health or public health, and with exposure to Africa and Latin America required. Speci\xef\xac\x81c experience in managing global operations from a US based-location with sensitivity to local program teams\' cultures a plus.

\xe2\x97\x8fExcellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills with the ability to build consensus and maintain con\xef\xac\x81dentiality

Travel: 15 percent

$125,000 - $135,000 a year
