We are seeking a results-driven

Director of Supply Chain

to lead and transform our global supply chain operations. This role is responsible for designing and executing strategies that ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable flow of materials and products from suppliers to customers. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep expertise in supply chain management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to foster collaboration across all intercompany and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities



Strategic Leadership



Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with corporate objectives,

ensuring operational plans directly support growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Drive supply chain resilience

by developing contingency plans, diversifying sourcing strategies, and strengthening supplier risk management.

Champion digital innovation

through the adoption of advanced analytics, forecasting, and automation to enhance visibility and decision-making.

Lead global trade compliance initiatives

, ensuring adherence to international regulations, customs requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.

Foster cross-functional collaboration

by partnering with finance, sales, engineering, and operations to create unified business strategies.

Promote a continuous improvement culture

, embedding lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes and eliminate inefficiencies.

Benchmark against industry leaders

to identify opportunities for competitive advantage and implement best practices. Oversee sourcing, procurement, supplier management, inventory control, production planning, logistics, and distribution.

Develop long-term supplier partnerships

that support innovation, joint product development, and shared value creation, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness.

Shape organizational agility

by anticipating market shifts, customer demands, and regulatory changes, positioning the company to respond quickly. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance, including risk assessments and contingency planning.

Planning & Forecasting



Drive demand planning and forecasting processes to balance inventory levels with customer requirements. Align supply chain plans with sales, marketing, and production strategies to support growth and profitability. Implement advanced inventory management systems to reduce obsolescence and optimize working capital. Manage core bank and expiry programs.

Performance & Reporting



Establish and monitor KPIs to measure supply chain effectiveness, cost efficiency, and service levels. Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to senior leadership. Manage the supply chain budget, ensuring financial discipline and ROI on initiatives.

Risk & Compliance



Identify and mitigate risks related to supply disruptions, geopolitical volatility, and regulatory changes. Ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards. Maintain robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Team Leadership



Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Promote professional development and succession planning within the department.


Qualifications

Competencies



Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, leveraging data to drive decisions. Proven negotiation and contract management expertise. Highly organized, results-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SAP or other ERP systems preferred.

Education & Experience



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred). 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or automotive sectors. Demonstrated success in procurement, planning, logistics, and distribution. Experience with global supply chains, trade compliance, and supplier risk management. Track record of implementing digital tools and process improvements to enhance supply chain performance.

The posted salary range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000 annually, plus bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
