Job Title: Director of Sales
Reports to: General Manager
Status: Exempt
Overview: A Kolter Hospitality Director of Sales delivers service excellence and achieves strategic financial objectives and business growth. This position is responsible for directing all aspects of sales and marketing, and supervising sales teams to ensure brand standards, revenue attainment and quality service goals are met.

Performance Expectations:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to effectively and most profitably sell hotel rooms and meeting space.
Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals.
Review market analysis to determine client needs
Supervise the sales team to ensure they are achieving their required goals.
Meet with key clients, assisting sales team with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing bookings.
Act as liaison between sales and other departments.
Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
Prepare sales reports as required on a timely basis.
Take initiative to solve problems by working as liaison with other hotel managers.
Develop the annual hotel revenue budget.
Develop and complete annual marketing plan.
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
Partake in hotel brand guideline training and practices set forth in franchise agreements.
Report any items in need of repair.
Follow all safety procedures while working.

General Requirements:
Report to work on time and in professional attire.
Knowledge and/or ability to operate a computer.
Knowledge and experience with Delphi, Hotel SalesPro, Travelclick Business Intelligence including Rate and Agency 360, STR reporting and forecasting tools.
Experience: Four (4) or more years of sales in a hotel or related field preferred.
Education: None. Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, marketing, or business a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Mostly sedentary work with ability to provide site tours on occasion.
