Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead and oversee the comprehensive rehabilitation services within our contracted partnes healthcare facility. This pivotal role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and driving quality patient outcomes. Responsibilities



Lead the planning, development, and implementation of rehabilitation programs across various clinical settings, including acute care and outpatient services. Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring seamless coordination among physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, nursing staff, and administrative personnel. Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to optimize departmental efficiency while maintaining high-quality patient care. Supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions to cultivate a motivated and skilled team. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) standards, and other relevant accreditation requirements. Oversee medical office management tasks including medical records management, utilization management, EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Neth Health & PCC to mantain accurate documentation. Collaborate with medical management teams to develop policies that promote best practices in rehabilitation medicine while adhering to budgetary constraints through effective financial management strategies. Maintain proficiency in medical terminology and clinical procedures related to acute care and hospital-based rehabilitation services. Implement quality assurance initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and operational workflows within the department. Foster strong relationships with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care plans effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications



Proven experience in healthcare management preferred Current licensure in good standing as a Physical Therapist/Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech Language Pathologist. Knowledge of medical office experience including medical records management, EMR/EHR systems such as Net Health and PCC, and familiarity with HIPAA regulations preffered. Demonstrated expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation within a healthcare setting. Strong background in therapy administrative support is highly desirable; experience in post-acute care is preferred. Familiarity with managed care processes is advantageous. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Knowledge of healthcare standards such as utilization management practices. Ability to navigate complex medical terminology and manage medical records efficiently using various EMR/EHR platforms. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in office management tasks including budgeting and human resources functions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year
