In addition, Bakers Studio serves as the manager of Mackin Family Office. What will you do? The Director of Operations provides expertise in process oversight and optimization solutions within our organization and for our clients. Working closely with the Executive Team, the Director of Operations plans and directs organizational finances, streamlines internal operations, enhances efficiency, and ensures the seamless delivery of our services to our clients. The Director of Operations contributes to the overall growth and success of the organization by developing and implementing strategies to align the organization\xe2\x80\x99s goals and objectives for both Bakers Studio and Mackin Family Office. As the Director of Operations, you will spend 75% of your time supporting the activities of Bakers Studio, the venture studio, and 25% of your time supporting Mackin Family Office. For Bakers Studio, you will support the activities of the venture studio, to include: -Actively participating on the executive team by:

  • Serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Team
  • Overseeing and optimizing internal processes, communication, project management, resource allocation, and quality control to enhance overall operational efficiency, systems, decision-making and effectiveness.
  • Contributing to the development and execution of the company\xe2\x80\x99s overall business strategy, and providing strategic support on a range of operational and organizational matters.
  • Building substantial expertise in EOS and the related tool, Bloom Growth, and evaluate and/or implement technological solutions that streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with executive team members to manage budgets, forecast resource needs and identify opportunities for financial optimization and service quality.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and reports to the executive team, board of directors, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Leading accounting processes to include spearheading the annual budgeting process, monitoring and reporting budget activity throughout the year, overseeing bookkeeping and month-end reconciliation/closing for studio operations, and creating and analyzing financial reports to include the P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet
-Serving as an advisor to portfolio clients by:
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies that align with the company\xe2\x80\x99s vision and goals, with efficient and effective service delivery to venture firms.
  • Participating in client meetings
  • Completing relevant projects timely and successfully
  • Supporting consulting projects developed through our Operating Partners
For Mackin Family Office, you will use your expertiseto:
  • Oversee investment portfolio and monitor progress to targets.
  • Manage month end close for family office financials.
  • Monitor family office budget
  • Assist in management of Real Estate Portfolio, with a top priority to assist in development of The Bakery
  • Manage special projects ensuring timely and successful completion.

  • Extensive experience in effective project management
  • An entrepreneurial drive, attraction to the active streams of work coming from Individual portfolio companies, with a creative mind that can suggest improvements and solutions.
  • A natural problem-solving ability with a keen attention to detail and a proven track record of delivering results in a complex, rapidly changing business environment.
  • Expertise in commonly used systems/tools like MS Office and Quickbooks.
  • The ability to find the story behind the numbers.
  • The ability to build internal and external relationships, work collaboratively, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication, organization, and planning skills in a fast-paced environment with strong project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A professional manner in dealing with others and evidence of constructive working relationships.
Education and Experience Desired This is our wish list, but we know experiences are gathered in a number of spaces, so feel free to apply if not all boxes are checked.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA, or CPA a strong plus
  • Proven track record in an Operations Management role, preferably within consulting or venture capital industry.
