Job duties include:

Enforce and oversee Facility Policies and Procedures to guarantee compliance with Federal and State Minimum Standards pertaining to nursing and medical services. Take part in evaluating resident referrals and admissions for Medicare Part A eligibility and cessation as per regulations. Oversee the accurate documentation of services rendered to residents. Manage Medical Consultants, including but not limited to Pharmacy, Dietitian, Podiatrist, and Medical Records personnel, ensuring that their recommendations are conveyed and documented appropriately. Maintain vigilance over all nursing-related supplies, equipment, and associated expenses. Additionally, participate in committees as designated by the Administrator and oversee the infection control and antibiotic stewardship program. Conduct interviews, make hiring decisions, provide training, and supervise all staff members within your purview. Continuously assess staff competence in handling medical matters and provide necessary training as required. Fulfill any other responsibilities as delegated by the Administrator.
