We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and oversee all aspects of patient care within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in nursing, strong leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of anatomy and patient care protocols. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the nursing team to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care
Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards
Oversee patient care plans, ensuring they meet individual needs and adhere to best practices
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient treatment programmes
Monitor clinical performance and provide ongoing training and professional development for nursing staff
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and legal requirements
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and staff activities
Act as a point of contact for patients' families, providing support and information as needed
Stay updated with advancements in medical practices, particularly relating to anatomy knowledge and patient care techniques
Requirements
Registered Nurse qualification with valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body
Proven experience in a senior nursing role, ideally as a Nurse Manager or similar leadership position
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform patient care decisions
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Commitment to delivering compassionate patient-centred care while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance
Ability to adapt to changing healthcare environments and implement innovative solutions where necessary

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
