Director of Nursing (DON)

What You'll Do:

Lead and manage the nursing department, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Oversee individualized care plans that meet both medical and emotional needs Conduct resident health assessments and supervise MDS completion Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards Champion resident rights and train staff on advocacy principles Manage staffing levels and shift coverage to ensure consistent, high-quality care Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Stay current on healthcare trends and best practices in nursing administration

Requirements:

RN license in Missouri with proven leadership experience in skilled nursing Deep understanding of care planning, MDS processes, and medical terminology Strong leadership and team-building skills Commitment to resident advocacy and quality improvement Proficiency in staffing coordination and shift management Analytical mindset with sound decision-making abilities

Sign on bonus is paid out quarterly over a 2 year period
