We're searching for an experienced and passionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our dedicated nursing team and help us deliver exceptional care in a compassionate, home-like environment.
As our Director of Nursing, you'll play a vital role in driving clinical excellence, fostering a supportive culture, and ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care. We're looking for a dynamic leader with strong clinical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a heart for service.
Key Responsibilities:
? Leadership & Oversight
Supervise and support the entire nursing team
Oversee patient care and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
Conduct regular rounds to maintain quality standards and build rapport with residents and staff
? Staff Management & Development
Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing personnel
Build strong, trusting relationships with staff while promoting a positive, team-oriented culture
Address concerns from residents, families, and employees with professionalism and compassion
? Operational Excellence
Manage the nursing department's budget and resources effectively
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations and top-tier care
Create and maintain efficient staffing schedules to ensure proper shift coverage for call outs and request offs
Participate in On Call rotation
? Quality Assurance & Compliance
Conduct resident assessments and ensure timely, accurate documentation
Monitor and manage medication systems to meet both regulatory and resident needs
Maintain facility compliance with inspections and uphold high standards of safety and care
? Culture & Compassion
Lead with empathy, critical thinking, and accountability
Inspire your team with a "jump-in" attitude--ready to meet the evolving needs of both staff and residents
Create an environment where staff are empowered, residents feel at home, and excellence is the norm
What We're Looking For:
Proven leadership in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Strong regulatory knowledge and clinical expertise
Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
