Job Description

The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all nursing department activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person centered care to residents in compliance with federal, state and local regulations. The Director of Nursing develops, implements, and evaluates nursing policies and procedures, ensures staff competency and performance, and promotes a culture of safety, respect, and clinical excellence throughout the facility.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have an unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Mississippi. Must be able to pass a criminal background check as required by the state of Mississippi. Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, MDS processes, infection control, and state survey procedures. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and wok collaboratively in a team environment.

PREFERRED

5 years of Long Term Care experience with at least 3 years in a management role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
