Director of Nursing (DON)

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring the highest standards of care. Lead, manage, and mentor nursing staff, providing support and guidance in clinical decision-making. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to residents. Manage staffing, budgets, and other departmental responsibilities to ensure the efficient operation of the nursing department. Advocate for residents' rights and ensure a safe and caring environment for all.

What We're Looking For:

Active RN license in Ohio (required). Previous experience as a Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role in long-term care or skilled nursing. In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing facilities. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to foster a positive, resident-focused environment.
