Eaton\xe2\x80\x99s Power Components division is currently seeking a Director, Marketing. Power Components is a leader in premier circuit, monitoring and management.with a wide array of products that support both internal and external stakeholders in multiple key markets. The expected annual salary range for this role is $191,250 - $280,500 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:


THE POSITION DESCRIPTION As the Marketing Director for the Power Components Division (PCD), you will be responsible for formulating and implementing clear and consistent strategic growth and profit improvement plans for the business via multi-generation product plans, product price positioning decisions, market and competitive analysis and commercial programs to grow share at target customers and channels for a business with approximately $760M in revenue across 5 main sites and ~3300 employees located in the US/PR, Pune, and the Dominican Republic. Reporting directly to the SVP/GM for the PCD business and functionally the VP of Marketing for the Protection, Controls, and Solutions (PCS) group, you will lead PCD and this business into the future!
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Develop the business strategy by analyzing key market trends including competitive products, regulatory and legislative developments and technological advances.
  • Guide and hold accountable Product Line Managers (PLM\xe2\x80\x99s) for execution of the strategic marketing initiatives defined in the PCD Strategic Plan and the annual Profit Plan.
  • Build and develop talent within the marketing organization through coaching, training, and focus on succession planning.
  • Jointly develop a sales growth strategy and programs to increase market share in existing markets and identify and develop new markets. Collaborate and introduce product/marketing promotions and other sales programs to deliver top-line sales revenue objectives. Serve as one of the \xe2\x80\x9ckey faces\xe2\x80\x9d of the business, developing relationships with the sales force, the channel and target customers.
  • Focus on effectively increasing margins by balancing objectives of growth and profitability through effective product management (optimal portfolio, product mix, pricing approach, customer targets) to deliver volume, gross margin and return on sales goals.
  • Identify inorganic growth opportunities and adjacent markets/offers that we may pursue through acquisition or partnership and cultivate relationships with identified targets.

Qualifications:




  • An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 10 years of increasing responsibility in progressive Sales/Marketing/Operations environment
  • Authorized or the ability to work in the US on a continuous basis
