What you will do:

The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. This role ensures the financial health and sustainability of the organization through strategic financial planning, risk management, and leadership of the accounting team. The Director of Finance serves as a key participant in the leadership team, providing data-driven insights to support business decisions.



Some key responsibilities for the Director of Finance:

Direct the organization's financial goals, objectives, and budgets Analyze financial results to determine operational needs, capital investment and banking requirements Provide financial insights into operational and strategic decision-making Partner with department heads to optimize performance and resource allocation Manage financial models, forecasting and KPI reporting Develop and enforce accounting policies and internal controls Assist senior management with contract negotiations and analysis Develop and maintain strong relationships with directors, managers, and supervisors Delegate projects and tasks, clearly establishing expectations and managing results of staff work Visualize, analyze and effectively communicate existing and potential risks and/or opportunities for the company Determine goals that are specific, measurable, achievable and relevant to the success of the business to manage expectations of stakeholders/employees Establish and maintain relationships with key providers such as Banks, Insurance, Safety, etc.

Minimum Qualifications Preferred:

BS/BA in Accounting/Finance required; MBA/CPA/CMA preferred 5+ years of direct financial management and leadership experience Demonstrates effective oral and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy in work product Demonstrates proficient & current understanding of GAAP that are relevant to the business
