Director of Donor Program Engagement
The Director of Donor Program Engagement is responsible for designing and implementing effective and measurable programs to maximize organ and tissue donation. This role leads the strategic efforts in marketing, hospital donor program development, professional education, and healthcare partner relations. Working collaboratively with Donor Alliance staff and healthcare partners, the Director plans, designs, and maintains educational and quality assurance programs related to donation. A key responsibility of this position is to coordinate, integrate, and deliver a unified, consistent message about organ and tissue donation with hospital partners and stakeholders.
Leads the development and continuous improvement of
hospital strategic plans
for donation program development to maximize participation by
hospitals and non-hospital partners
, from referral through the organ and tissue recovery.
Coordinates the assessment of donor potential, the development of local, regional, and rural
customized
programs
and the evaluation of recovery activity across referral sources.
Oversees the development and evaluation of customized action plans for each hospital or referral source, driving donation while balancing partner and the organizational needs.
Designs, organizes, and delivers
professional education programs
at the local and regional levels as needed.
Develops and communicates an effective unified message of donation and provides training in marketing, adult education, and the donation process to relevant staff.
Establishes a customer service model and related activities to evaluate
customer
satisfaction
, increase support for the donation process.
Responsible for providing
leadership
and direction to assigned staff; including staff performance reviews, professional development, and monitoring staff activities.
Responsible for organizational culture alignment, departmental staffing, performance, engagement/satisfaction, and team building through the employee development program.

Minimum of seven years marketing experience and an understanding of marketing concepts required.
Minimum of five years leadership experience required.
Previous clinician experience preferred, not required.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team required.
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills required.
