Position Overview

A respected healthcare provider in New Jersey is seeking a qualified and experienced Director of Dietary Services to oversee its dietary department. This leadership role is responsible for managing food service operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality nutritional care to residents and patients.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all dietary staff and kitchen operations Develop and implement nutritious, cost-effective menus Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local food safety regulations Coordinate with clinical teams to support individualized nutrition plans Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service

Qualifications

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Registered Dietitian (RD), or equivalent required Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in healthcare food services Strong understanding of dietary regulations and nutrition standards Proven leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities
