Job Overview

We are seeking a

Director of Con Sales & Strategy

to lead Spirit Jersey's presence across

fan expos and conventions

. This role is both strategic and hands-on: you'll build the long-term sales strategy, coordinate all logistics, and personally oversee the operation of our booth--including POS, inventory, merchandising, and fan experience.

This position will based in Orlando, FL and will require frequent travel (approximately

1-2 weekends per month

) to lead on-site convention teams, ensuring every show runs smoothly and successfully.

Key Responsibilities

Convention Sales Strategy:

Develop annual sales targets and growth strategies across all fan expos and conventions.

Logistics & Planning:

Coordinate trade show logistics, including shipping, booth design, set-up/tear-down, staffing, and inventory.

On-Site Leadership:

Serve as the primary on-site lead at conventions--running the booth, managing POS systems, ensuring merchandising standards, and troubleshooting in real time.

Brand Representation:

Act as a Spirit Jersey brand ambassador, embodying professionalism and top-tier customer service at every event.

Content Capture:

Create and capture on-site social media clips to support marketing and fan engagement.

Team Leadership:

Train and manage booth staff to deliver a consistent, high-energy fan experience.

Partnership Development:

Build relationships with show organizers, licensors, and partners to secure placements and collaborative opportunities.

Post-Show Reporting:

Track sales, traffic, and ROI; deliver reports with insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

5+ years

of experience in retail, event management, or trade show operations. Proven record of managing complex event logistics and achieving sales growth. Hands-on experience running trade show booths or pop-up retail strongly preferred. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills--able to keep logistics, staff, and sales moving under pressure. Excellent leadership, communication, and customer engagement abilities. Ability to act as a polished brand ambassador, capturing social media content and engaging fans with professionalism. Comfortable working weekends and traveling 1-2 weekends per month. Passion for pop culture, fandom, and live events a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
