Northeast Technology Center POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT Position: Director of Communications - Elect Exempt Non-Certified Professional, Full-Time, 12-month Staff District Employee Assigned to Administration Starting Date: July 1, 2023 Reports to: Executive Director of Operations Schedule: General work schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, unless assignment requires additional time for completion Compensation Package: $85,320 minimum annually, commensurate with experience. Total minimum compensation package approximately $105,320 annually. Primary Function: Oversee the promotion of Northeast Tech services, students and staff to the patrons of the district for the purpose of building mutually beneficial relationships between Northeast Tech and its publics. Education: An earned bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related discipline is required. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree and accreditation in public relations preferred. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience. Familiarity with Northeast Tech and its district communities, along with knowledge of the state Career Tech system is desirable. Experience in making presentations before large groups. Evidence of skills to fulfill the position responsibilities is required. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $85,320.00 per year Benefits:
