Job Description

The Director of Clinical Services will be part of the Synergy leadership team, will represent the mission of the organization both internally and externally and will ensure high level clinical services are being offered, under the guidelines of Trauma Informed Care and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).

Responsibilities



Provides clinical supervision and leadership to clinical staff by promoting and ensuring that services are provided from a trauma informed lens, with care and consideration. Leads and documents individual and group supervision and oversees caseloads and make modifications as needed. Ensures staff meets productivity standards and maintain measures of accountability. Serves in an on-call capacity on a rotating basis; leads on-call processes, trains team on protocols, and manages on-call schedule Provides resident mediation, support, and crisis response when needed and works alongside the operations team to address client needs/issues. Reviews & approves Biopsychosocial Assessments & Treatment Plans according to ASAM documentation standards. Engages in consistent chart audits, reviewing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation and ensures compliance with Medicaid, Recovery Works, and other funding programs. Provides direct addiction recovery services and consultation services in accordance with the policies and procedures of the organization. Performs comprehensive assessments, develops treatment plans and oversees the screening and service planning process. Conducts weekly patient progress meetings as well as individual supervision with clinicians. Develops performance goals and monitors measurable outcomes against those goals, with regular written reports to senior management. Oversees accurate and timely completion of all required forms, progress reports, incident reports, or related documents. Develops & implements Synergy clinical best practices to ensure the delivery of quality, outcome driven recovery care. Ensures HIPAA, ethical code of conduct and professional boundaries are maintained between staff and clients. Participates in, leads and/or coordinates training sessions and workshops to enhance treatment skills. Attends staff meetings and team conferences; leads team meetings as required. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements



Master's degree in Addictions Recovery, Psychology, Mental Health, Human Services, or related field preferred. At least 5 years of Management experience required. Experience providing addiction recovery services and experience with Recovery Works preferred. Extensive knowledge of addiction, treatment, and recovery. Current PMHNP, ANP, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT or LCAC credential. Experience and ability to work with electronic medical records.
