Compass Equipment Finance's mission is to provide access to affordable truck and trailer financing to small fleet owners and individual owner operators in partnership with our vast dealership network.
This position is responsible for generating quality applications for indirect commercial equipment installment contracts from the West Coast Region in the transportation sector. This is accomplished through the maintenance of current dealer relationships as well as growing the market through building new relationships with franchise and independent dealerships. To effectively fulfill the responsibilities of this job role, applicants must currently be located in one of the following states, Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, or Washington.
In this role, the Representative is responsible for promoting the current program, following up on potential deals, reviewing and improving dealership efficiency and when needed addressing any identified issues. The Representative is also expected to be the primary advocate for both the dealership and internal credit staff to ensure all parties are effectively communicating and working together.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Attain the sales objectives
Regular calling on established and prospective dealerships
Report sales activities through CRM system
Maintain familiarity with all products and programs
Marketing and promotion of indirect lending options and services
Manage dealership relationships to achieve volume objectives while maintaining a quality loan product
Resolve complaints/issues with dealerships and/or borrowers
Review and follow up on approved applications to promote conversions to funded deals
Support and promote company culture of teamwork and integrity
Manage marketing plans to align with company goals
Identify and communicate dealership needs, market conditions and competitor trends and programs
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Participate in industry associations as needed
Attend trade shows and other events as needed
Provide additional help in areas as needed

Required Education: High School or equivalent.
Required Experience: Previous product or service sales success; industry knowledge preferred

Base Salary Range - $65,000..00-$72,000.00
Supplemental Pay: Commission Pay
Pay: $65,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
