QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements for Director of Behavioral Services
Minimum Education: Masters Degree or higher in Nursing, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required.
Valid licensure in a relevant clinical discipline (e.g., LCSW, LPC, PhD, PsyD).
Minimum Experience: Five (5+) years of leadership experience with psychiatric inpatient and outpatient programs in an acute care facility.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required. Should you hold a RN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days.
American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required. CPI certification within orientation.
Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and to engage effectively with diverse populations.
Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States

The Director of Behavioral Services is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the behavioral health programs within a healthcare facility.
This position requires a strategic and compassionate leader who will ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based behavioral healthcare services.
As the Director you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care, promote mental health awareness, and drive initiatives that support the overall mission of the organization.
You will be responsible for the direction and coordination of the activities of the assigned department in order to execute daily operations and meet the objectives of the hospital Plan for the Provision of Patient Care.
Implements standards and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of care delivered.
Has administrative responsibility for psychiatric program development within the Department of Nursing.
Responsible for determining annual budget for department.
Works collaboratively with medical staff and hospital administration to personalize the Medical Center strategic plan.
Leads and participates in development of programs and services to meet the needs of the community.
