What You Will Do:



The Director, National Education Partnerships at L'Oreal Dermatological Beauty (LDB) is a critical leadership role responsible for transforming the retail training landscape. This position demands a strategic visionary capable of developing and implementing a scalable, impactful training model across major national retail partners.



Core Responsibilities:



Strategic Leadership: ?Spearhead the development and execution of a cutting-edge retail training strategy, incorporating feedback from cross-functional partners and aligning with LDB's overall business objectives. This includes navigating ambiguity, driving organizational change, and championing the new vision throughout the organization. Team Management & Development: ?Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Retail Education Managers, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes continuous improvement and maximizes team potential. Responsibilities encompass performance management, talent development, and succession planning. Curriculum Design & Delivery: ?Oversee the creation and implementation of dynamic, retailer-specific training content that effectively communicates product knowledge, brand messaging, and sales strategies. This involves collaborating with Brand, Commercial, and Education partners to ensure alignment with key initiatives and market dynamics. Stakeholder Management: ?Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key retail education teams, effectively negotiating training opportunities and maximizing LDB's presence within the retail environment. This also includes managing relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring seamless program execution and cost-effectiveness. Internally, this role requires close collaboration with Education & Development, Brand, Commercial Sales, and Integrated Health teams. Forge Strong Partnerships: ?Cultivate and maintain "best-in-class" relationships with all levels of corporate retailer education teams, as well as key stakeholders within pharmacy organizations, consistently seeking opportunities to strengthen partnerships and expand LDB's presence. Your ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers across different sectors will be essential to your success. Performance Measurement & Analysis: ?Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and rigorously track the effectiveness of retail training programs, providing data-driven insights to LDB Medical Leadership. This includes analyzing ROI and identifying areas for continuous improvement. Third Party Vendor Management: Manage and train third party vendors to support the in person or virtual delivery of education plans at key retailers. Budgetary Oversight & Resource Allocation: ?Develop and manage the annual budget for retail training initiatives, ensuring responsible resource allocation and maximizing return on investment. This includes negotiating contracts with third-party vendors and overseeing all related expenses. Gratis Program Management: ?Manage gratis programs for all retailers, including forecasting and distribution of Brand Immersion and Train the Trainer kits, optimizing resource allocation and maximizing impact.

Qualifications :



Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university 7+ years of experience in Training, Content Creation, or a related field 2+ years industry experience (Dermatology related fields) Commercial sales, retail or related experience Experience working with key retail education leaders including but not limited to Ulta, CVS, Walgreens, and Target. Experience working with vendors supporting in person education events at key retailers Proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability Demonstrated experience in talent development and mentorship Exceptional strategic thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to translate vision into actionable plans Experience leading organizational change and navigating complex environments Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally Excellent presentation, writing, and facilitation skills Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering results on time and within budget Solid understanding of business principles and financial management, with experience developing and managing budgets Ability to negotiate contracts and optimize resource allocation. Analytical proficiency with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Collaborative and influential approach to teamwork Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus Experience in digital training development (e.g., apps, webinars, custom platforms) is a plus Continuous learner, adaptable to new technologies Valid US driver's license Travel: Ability to travel up to 40% and work evenings/weekends as needed with possible overnight stays.
