Job Summary: Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry.
Participates in hospital and system-wide activities, committees and teams as required to carry out responsibilities for representation of Operations. Does so as a team player, with a focus on the greater need of SJH, and integrates hospital and system-wide team concepts into areas supervised.
Assures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements of the state, DNV and other agencies, as appropriate. Manages this through team concepts, both hospital and system wide. CQI, TQM and Lean concepts are employed.
Oversees all properties and real estate for SJH Nashua as well as maintaining lease creation and management.
Oversees the Facilities Department through the development and maintenance of the departmental budget. The Director provides guidance to the Department Supervisor and its employees. Oversees and manages all building projects for the Hospital and practices.
Assures effective communication throughout all areas supervised both directly and indirectly. Communicates departmental goals and integrates hospital and system-wide goals into the process. Communication about Hospital, System, and departmental strategic goals and objectives is done. Is available for interpersonal communication with staff and does so with commitment to listen and respond in a respectful manner.
Leadership style demonstrates organizational commitment, customer service orientation, team orientation, conceptual and analytical thinking, tolerance for ambiguity, and self-management ability that is flexible and biased toward change management and achievement of objectives.
Works in close cooperation with the VF Finance and establishes project parameters, develops project work, and schedule, and ensures that the project meets all target dates.
Expedites all schedules and ensures that the assigned projects remain both on schedule and on budget as well as properly informing all parties to the project relative to its status.
Ensures the necessary information and progress reports are channeled back to the VP Finance/CFO satisfying the need for timely and accurate information.
Works in conjunction with the members of Administration, participates in the development of business plans in concert with the overall hospital and system-wide objectives.
As directed or as situations indicate, collects information regarding necessary projects, conducts research in targeted project areas, and prepares recommendations and necessary reports
Develops, reports summarizing research findings, and develops initial recommendations in concert with and response to the organization's strategic plan for all assigned projects.
Serves on the Board of Directors for the Medical Office Building Condo Associations. Serves as Treasurer for MOB West and Secretary for MOB East.
Other duties as consistent with this role.

Education and Experience
Master's degree in business, public administration, or another related field preferred
5 years of experience in healthcare management required.
5 years of experience with oversight of the various trades (i.e., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.,) preferred
Experience with healthcare facility regulations and licensing requirements.
Experience with accreditation requirements for The Joint Commission or DNV specific to the environment of care and life safety.

Comp Range: $93,187.07 - $139,780.60 Rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale.
