The Strategic Data Products organization in IM-US is the Novartis engine for achieving best-in-class Healthcare provider (HCP) experience and transformative digital patient engagement. The Customer Experience & Engagement Data & Analytics group seeks a highly motivated leader driving strategy and execution of data products and solutions for omnichannel Engagement across all channels.

This position reports to the Executive Director (Strategic Data Products). This role is a thought leader in enabling and driving data products and solutions to orchestrate omnichannel customer and consumer journeys and enabling reporting solutions at scale and generating incremental value for the business.
This role will also partner closely with the Advanced Analytics & Insights teams, Integrated Customer Experience and Optimization Planners and a team of content, data, channel, and external partners, to design integrated customer (HCP and patient) centric, cross-channel experiences in-formed by data, customer insight, and applicable marketing technology.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead strategy, development and operations of Marketing data solutions to enable integration with the Decision Engine to drive Next Best Action of omnichannel customer journeys and marketing mix models
  • Has a very strong foundation of different types of datasets (Sales, Field Interaction/CRM, Digital \xe2\x80\x93 Targeted, Digital - Broad, Claims, Customer, Finance, Patient) that feed into an omnichannel engine and/or an attribution model and how they merge/interplay with each other to maximize throughput
  • Has worked in/led a team that developed a multisystem platform the communicates with different Martech and Codetech to automate data delivery, AI/ML runs, Business Rules implementation, Last Mile delivery and Execution
  • Serve as the single point of contact to interface with Analytics leads to understand data requirements for enabling analytics, insights and reporting.
  • Design, implement, and maintain metrics and reporting platforms that meet sales, marketing, and business needs
  • Develop processes and procedures to optimize data collection and analysis.
  • Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; identifying key metrics and measuring against these, providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; and implementing directives.
  • Develop new uses for existing products by analyzing statistics regarding market development and usage; acquiring and analyzing data; and consulting with internal and external sources.
  • Drive the strategy and execution of data roadmap to enable omni channel orchestration by integrating data with platforms such as CDP, Consent Management Hub, CRM & MDM data, Digital & Social Engagement data and tools, HCP and patient websites, etc. that support the build of customer and consumer journeys
  • Lead strategy and execution of data products to enable personalized Modular Content across HQE and RTE channels
  • Collaborate with Legal and compliance to ensure compliance of digital and marketing data with data privacy and regulatory laws
  • Establish trust with data by overseeing and implementing robust and proactive data quality measures and enable reporting on data quality.

This position will be located at the East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $192,00 and $288,000 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an \xe2\x80\x9cat-will position\xe2\x80\x9d and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Minimum requirements
What will you bring to the role
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Business or other technical degree. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred
  • 12+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in digital and marketing data products
  • Will prefer 2+ years of professional experience in Pharma, and or life sciences consulting with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and managing cross functional teams
  • Knowledge of Omnichannel Orchestration and omnichannel Customer (HCP,HCO) and Consumer journeys in a global environment
  • Experience integrating with SalesForce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Experience Cloud.
  • Knowledge and hands on Experience integrating with Marketing mix Modelling systems.
  • Excellent understanding of data management platforms (Data Fabric, Data Mesh etc), relational databases systems (RDBMS), data-warehousing concepts, ETL development, and systems integration
