Summary



The Director, Corporate Development & Strategy will lead and support mission-critical projects across mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and commercial growth initiatives. This role will partner cross-functionally with corporate development, commercial strategy, finance, legal, and operations teams to drive due diligence, deal execution, integration, and go-to-market strategies that fuel Lazer's M&A engine. This individual will be responsible for end-to- end project execution " including planning, governance, communication, and stakeholder alignment " in a fast- paced, high-growth environment. A strong understanding of corporate transactions, commercial operations, and business case development is essential. The ideal candidate is a high-performing project leader who excels at stakeholder alignment, structured problem-solving, and managing complex initiatives across multiple teams and levels of the organization.





M&A Execution & Integration



Lead or support cross-functional due diligence activities for acquisitions, including coordinating inputs from functional leaders.

Develop detailed project plans for transaction execution and post-close integration.

Track and manage M&A project deliverables, risks, and milestones.

Partner with functional leaders to drive synergy realization and performance tracking.



Commercial & Strategic Projects



Manage projects in partnership with the Commercial team related to pricing strategy, customer segmentation, sales enablement, and go-to-market planning.

Drive the development and strategic utilization of Lazer's internal market intelligence database to proactively identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-impact commercial and M&A opportunities.

Drive the execution of initiatives tied to the company's commercial strategy and revenue growth objectives.



Project Planning & Execution



Lead end-to-end project management, from business case development through implementation and benefits realization.

Collaborate with Finance to support business case modeling, ROI tracking, and performance measurement.

Use Lazer Logistics' PMO Tool to develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.

Coordinate workstreams across commercial, corporate development, legal, finance, and operations teams.



Stakeholder Engagement



Partner with executive sponsors, functional leaders, and subject matter experts to drive alignment and accountability.

Lead cross-functional meetings, ensure transparent communication, and manage stakeholder expectations.



Performance Monitoring & Reporting



Define and track project specific KPIs and success metrics.

Regularly report project status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership.

Ensure all projects align with Lazer's strategic priorities and enterprise-level objectives.



Risk & Change Management



Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

Manage scope changes and ensure change control processes are followed.

Qualifications and Experience


Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Strategy or related field. MBA preferred. 2+ years of experience in project management, management consulting, investment banking, corporate development, or strategic planning. Demonstrated success managing complex cross-functional projects. Strong understanding of financial modeling and operational metrics. Strong executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders. Structured problem-solver with a bias for action and continuous improvement. Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills. Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-demand environments, coupled with a strong ambition to grow into a leadership role. Must be flexible and adaptive to the ever-changing market and Lazer Logistics objectives and goals.
