We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Electronic Discovery Operations Director to lead and oversee our electronic discovery operations, processing and production teams, cloud application developers, and special projects team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electronic discovery processes and customer needs, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.

Identify shortcomings in delivery from OpenText and create, direct, and implement change within the company and/or the department to improve products and procedures.
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the electronic discovery operations, processing, and production teams.
Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, quality, and accuracy of electronic discovery processes.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and best practices.
Lead and manage a team of cloud application developers responsible for developing and maintaining cutting-edge technology solutions for electronic discovery operations.
Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful implementation of eDiscovery solutions for internal stakeholders and corporate customers.
Collaborate with the development team to identify innovative ways to streamline processes, improve tools, and enhance data security.
Elevate delivery of professional services and identify and drive new client solutions, helping grow revenue across Strategic Corporate clients.
Direct individual project managers dedicated to driving efficient billing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), documentation, and other business needs.
Provide guidance and support to ensure successful execution of special projects that enhance operational efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication across all teams, ensuring effective information sharing and alignment of goals.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, IT, and client services, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Set clear performance objectives and expectations for teams and individuals, providing regular feedback and coaching for professional growth.
Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and implement development plans.
Continuously assess and optimize electronic discovery processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive operational excellence.
Manage departmental budgets, including resource allocation, software licenses, and other operational expenses.
Develop and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, operational efficiencies, and areas of improvement.

Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field.
Proven experience (15+ years) in electronic discovery operations, with a strong understanding of eDiscovery workflows and technologies.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams, including processing and production, cloud application development, and project management.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of industry standards, legal regulations, and best practices in electronic discovery. Working knowledge of litigation lifecycle, EDRM, litigation document review and workflows, complex searches related to litigation, Technology Assisted Review and Continuous Active Learning.
Proficiency in using eDiscovery tools and technology platforms.
Strategic thinker with a track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with corporate clients and cross-functional teams.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Work Experience, Qualifications, Skills

Technical or master\'s degree in a relevant field.
Broad experience using eDiscovery software applications. Experience with OpenText\'s suite of eDiscovery solutions is a strong positive.
Budget management experience is a plus.

Role Challenges and Special Working Conditions
Overnight travel throughout the continental U.S. to visit OpenText customers and corporate offices may be necessary.
Requirements may dictate the need to work hours outside of normal, 40-hour workweek.

For Colorado residents, the minimum compensation estimated for this position is $186,000 in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan. Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
