Job Duties The Director of Ambulatory Access Solutions is responsible to develop innovative strategies and solutions that increase access to information, services, and care in diverse ways our customers value. This role serves as a leader, innovator, and change agent, pushing the boundaries of current access solutions, evolving ways in which customer needs are met. Responsible for effective collaboration and implementation of necessary systems, processes, and resources to ensure \xe2\x80\x9cexceptional care, simply delivered\xe2\x80\x9d across a complex, integrated care delivery system. Develops and directs activities of Managers, ensuring alignment with vision
Your Qualifications
  • 4 year/Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree (required); Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business or other related area (preferred).
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • 3 + years leadership experience advancing access in a large health system. Experience implementing innovative technology to produce results. Experience using process improvement tools to hardwire efficient processes (required).

Your Skills
  • Identifies and incorporates transformative access solutions in solutions that advance customer access.
  • Collaborates with Knowledge Mgmt, Office of Patient Experience, Ambulatory Ops, Marketing, Revenue Cycle, Compliance and Service Excellence in the design of system level improvements that will improve access while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Connects activities to achievement of strategic vision, in writing and oral presentation, ensuring support and alignment with vision.
  • Defines expected outcomes, key performance indicators, and establishes consistent reporting capabilities to consistently improve.
  • Develops necessary advisory structure, identifying key clinicians and leadership stakeholders to develop clinical care guidelines in the delivery of virtual care.
  • Develops the structure and processes necessary to execute on vision. Contracts with pivotal technology solutions or services to enable alternative methods.
  • Evolves services in alignment of patient/customer expectations, to include 24/7 contact.
  • In partnership with Marketing, promotes innovative solutions.
  • Ensures adoption of best practice standard practice in process across the Ambulatory division.

Transparent, errs on the side of sharing versus withholding. Translates department initiatives for leaders, linking their work to the broader strategy. Can clearly articulate a firm decision when needed, while simultaneously ensuring team members understand the "Why", the "How" and the "What".
