We are seeking a skilled Satellite Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in telecommunications and Cable/Satellite systems, with hands-on experience in installation and maintenance. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our network systems, providing technical support, and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot cable systems including Satellite system and inside receiver boxes
Utilize tools such as AIM meters, cable splicing tools, drills, and ladders to properly install and repair Satellite systems up to code and quality.
Perform cabling tasks, including cable splicing, new cable line installation, and cable line troubleshooting.
Provide technical support to clients via telephone and telecommunication methods, addressing their concerns promptly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all installations meet industry standards and client specifications.
Document all service activities accurately for future reference and compliance purposes.
Provide highly satisfactory customer service to our satellite customers.
Skills
Proficiency in using AIM meter for proper satellite dish alignment.
Experience as a service technician in the telecommunications field is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of cable systems.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and support staff via telephone and telecommunication channels.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all technical tasks.
High attention to detail and quality control measures
Time management skills to properly manage your route and work orders
