Direct Support Professionals (Part Time)

CCP Adult Day Program is looking for Part Time Direct Support Professionals to work on our team. We seek individuals who can join us for at least three (3) days/week either 6 1/2 hour days or 8 hour days. Benefits are provided for a consistent schedule of 20 hours/week. If these hours are not feasible what might you suggest? Some responsibilities are:

Assists other Direct Support Professionals on the team

Maintain a good working rapport with participants.

Demonstrate enthusiasm and respect.

Possess appropriate affect in challenging situations

Always following provided schedules

Engage participants in all activities

Encourage participant communication

Participate in all Adult Program activities, such as, but not limited to, courtyard activities, exercise, swimming, on site events, and community outings

Able to lift, carry and/or assist in lifting and carrying participants if needed or emergent situation exists.

Completes participant related documentation as requested

Conducts self in a manner consistent with program policies and procedures

Completes all training and certification requirements set forth by DDD and/or CC Programs.

May serves as a bus aide in the AM or PM when need arises

Perform other duties as may be assigned
