Join our dedicated team as a Direct Support Professional-Field Supervisor. The Field Supervisor oversees and supports Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) providing in home and community based care to clients. This role ensures quality service delivery, compliance with state regulations, and strong communication between staff, clients, and management. The Field Supervisor conducts field visits, monitors staff performance, provides coaching, and ensures all documentation and care-plans are followed accurately. Field Supervisor will also assist with scheduling of DSPs and shared on-call.
Duties
Supervise and support DSPs in assigned service areas.
Conduct routine field visits to monitor service quality, employee performance, and client satisfaction.
Ensure all services comply with agency policies, licensing requirements, and state regulations (HCBS standards)
Train and orient new Direct Support Professionals on client care plans, safety, and documentation procedures.
Review DSPs daily service logs for accuracy.
Respond promptly to client and employee emergencies, scheduling issues or incident reports.
Maintain communication with clients, families, and case managers to ensure continuity of care.
Report directly to administrator with updates, concerns and recommendations.
Assist other supervisory staff with scheduling of DSPs and share on-call
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including social workers and nurses to develop and update individualized care plans.
Will be required to cover direct care shifts when employees call in or a replacement cannot be found, ensuring client care is not interrupted.
