Job Description

Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Pay Range: $14-$15 per hour

Mon-Fri 8am-12pm then 5:30pm-9:00pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide support and assistance individuals. The caregiver will help with daily living activities, maintain a safe and supportive environment, and promote independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Provide meal preparation and feeding assistance if needed Support with daily routines, behavioral goals, and social skills development Monitor and ensure safety in the home and community settings Offer companionship and engage the patient in appropriate activities Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the patient's care Communicate effectively with family members and/or healthcare providers about the patient's needs and progress
Qualifications:

Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills Ability to follow care plans and instructions Must be dependable and able to maintain confidentiality High school diploma or equivalent preferred CPR/First Aid certification is required Tb skin test
Schedule:

Flexible shifts available (part-time or full-time depending on needs)
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
