AIM Supports is seeking compassionate and dedicated

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)

to join our Community Living Supports (CLS) team. DSPs play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and meaningful participation in daily life. The ideal candidate is caring, dependable, and committed to helping people live with dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Support individuals in community integration through social activities, appointments, and outings. Implement individualized support plans while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA. Complete daily shift notes documenting services provided, progress, and goals. Support individuals in developing independent living skills, including light housekeeping tasks, by modeling and encouraging participation. Encourage independence by engaging individuals in meaningful, skill-building activities. Monitor and report changes in physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions to supervisors.

Qualifications

Previous experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required. Must pass ODDS required background check. Ability to follow support plans and work as part of a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients, families, and coworkers. Valid driver's license with a good driving record and current auto insurance (must be maintained). CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided by AIM if needed).

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
