Currently looking to fill:

Part-time

Choices for Community Living (CCL) is seeking dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with developmental disabilities in Lincoln, DE. As a DSP, you will assist individuals in a variety of settings, including community environments, family homes, and individual residences.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care. Administer medication as needed. Provide support with meals and dietary needs. Promote community inclusion by engaging individuals in social activities. Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities and progress.

Qualities/Qualifications We're Looking For:

A caring and nurturing demeanor. A genuine desire to help others and make a difference in their lives. Valid DE Driver's License with a clean driving record. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist individuals. Ability to walk, climb, bend, reach, kneel, squat, and twist as part of the job duties.

Work Schedule:

Flexible shifts: 12-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts, evening shifts, on-call, and weekends

Job Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license with 5 or fewer points. Must have no DUI (Driving Under the Influence) or drug-related convictions. Must pass a criminal background check, physical exam, and drug screening.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred). 1 year of direct support experience (Preferred).
