Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team! In this role, you'll provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them live meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives. You'll assist with daily living activities, promote personal growth, and foster a positive and supportive environment.

Schedule

NEEDED Fridays and Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Hours 7day/week Shifts 8a-8p and 8p-8a
Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide patient care and support in a group home or assisted living setting. Monitor and document behavior, and overall health status in accordance with plans. Assist with medical equipment as needed. Engage clients in social and recreational activities that encourage community involvement. Follow individualized care plans and behavior support strategies. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment, including light housekeeping tasks. Support clients with mobility needs (e.g., using Hoyer lifts). Observe and report changes in client health or behavior to appropriate personnel. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications & Experience

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism preferred. Background in home health, hospice, or long-term care is beneficial.. Previous experience in direct support or social services is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
