Position Summary

Direct Support Professionals assist individuals in their homes and community by providing day-to-day support, following care plans, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. This role requires dependability, clear communication, and the ability to follow procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Assist with daily living tasks (cooking, cleaning, hygiene, personal care) Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and activities Follow support plans and behavioral guidelines as trained Administer medications according to policy and training Maintain accurate documentation and shift notes Support individuals with community involvement and routine activities Ensure safety and cleanliness in the home Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications

Applicants must meet all of the following:

18 years or older

Valid driver's license

Reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check or obtain a Good Cause Waiver

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to complete all required trainings (CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, Tools of Choice, etc.) Dependable, consistent attendance
