Position Overview
As a Direct Support Professional with PHASE-Industries, you will provide compassionate, person-centered support that empowers individuals with developmental disabilities to live, work, and thrive in their communities. You'll assist with daily living activities, skill-building, employment support, and community engagement while ensuring dignity, safety, and respect at all times.
Responsibilities
Provide direct support and person-centered care for individuals at our location in Marshall (we do have openings at our other locations as well, see other postings)
Assist some with daily living activities such as self-care, meals, mobility, and hygiene
Facilitate community involvement, recreational activities, and employment training
Implement behavioral support strategies, crisis prevention, and de-escalation techniques (we provide the training)
Dispense medications (after training and certification)
Provide safe transportation for the individuals that we serve
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes for all individuals
Uphold PHASE-Industries' Code of Ethics, policies, and participant rights
Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; be 18+ years old
Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle record check (MVR), and insurance requirements
Willingness to complete First Aid & CPR certification (training provided)
Compassion, patience, and commitment to helping individuals achieve their goals
Basic computer skills or willingness to learn
