Job Description

We are currently seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Professionals (BHPs) and Direct Support Professionals (DSP's) to join our team and provide essential support to the people we serve.

STARTING WAGE FOR BHPs IS UP TO $24.00

This rewarding role involves facilitating skill development through engaging and fun activities, making a significant and positive impact on a child's growth. You lead various activities designed to foster growth in crucial areas. These include:

Community Activities, such as going to the fair or riding the local train,
and going to the Timber Tina Lumberjack Show

Going hiking, swimming, playing mini-golf
Playing board games or visiting the playground
Meal planning, shopping, and cooking
(all of these activities are paid for by DEH for staff and clients)

Through these enjoyable experiences, we help to develop critical skills in social interaction, maintaining friendships, emotional processing, and understanding community safety--essentially,

Up to a $1000 sign-on bonus
Downeast Horizons provides paid training for all the necessary
requirements to become a DSP or BHP.

Requirements:

All applicants must have a high school diploma/GED and a valid driver's license.
