Overview

Community Living of Idaho provides supported services to adults with a variety of disabilities in the Treasure Valley! Our mission is to allow care that allows our participants to live as independently as possible in the community of their choice. Our goal is to work together to provide advocacy, support and behavior management skills that allow our participants to thrive. I am Looking for a full-time caregiver to work 11pm - 7am Sun thru Thurs.

Duties

As a Direct Support Professional, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance social interactions and community engagement. Implementing individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of each client. Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy. Supporting clients in achieving their personal goals and fostering independence through skill-building activities. Monitoring health and behavior changes, reporting any concerns to appropriate staff or healthcare professionals. Assisting with transportation to appointments or community activities as needed. Maintaining a clean and safe living environment for all residents.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Experience in group home settings or social work is preferred. Knowledge of patient care practices, including first aid and long-term care principles. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Ability to perform meal preparation and assist clients with dietary needs. Experience in home community care is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
