Direct Care Worker (DCW)
A New Beginning Group Homes (ANBGH) is hiring staff for our location in Mesa, AZ. Our agency provides group homes for individuals with developmental disabilities and is looking for the next superstar to join and grow with our team! At this location staff members will be responsible for the care and supervision of three individuals with developmental disabilities in the home and community, with job duties consisting of but not limited to:

Supervision and care of individuals Assisting with daily living skills Documentation (progress notes, service logs, etc) Behavior management Medication administration Transporting members Meal preparation Housekeeping
We are looking for candidates who have a passion for caring for others, a willingness to grow, a great personality, self-motivators, excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements for this position:

Must be able to pass a criminal background check At least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Must have a fingerprint clearance card Valid AZ driver's license Reliable transportation

Full-time and Part-time Available

*All shifts require the team to be awake and alert at all times.

Certifications needed

(Will assist with obtaining if needed):

CPR/First Aid Prevention and Support Article 9

*CNAs, Home Health Aides, previous DDD (Department of Developmental Disabilities) or individuals with special needs experience are highly preferred.

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
