As a Direct Care Worker at Point Of Hope Inc., you will play a vital role in providing compassionate support to individuals in need. Located in the United States, this position is essential in helping our clients lead fulfilling lives while achieving their personal goals.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities and neurological impairments. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene. Monitor and document client progress towards personal goals and objectives. Advocate for clients' rights and ensure they are treated with dignity and respect. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients.

Requirements

Experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred. Knowledge of resident rights and advocacy principles. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professional boundaries. Familiarity with long-term care practices is a plus.
