Summary

As a Direct Care Worker at Point Of Hope Inc., you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals with diverse needs. This position is essential in helping our clients lead fulfilling lives while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

Provide direct personal care and support to clients in their daily activities. Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met. Monitor clients' health status, including vital signs and overall well-being. Implement care plans tailored to each individual's needs and goals. Support clients in achieving personal goals through encouragement and guidance. Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients. Document client progress and report any changes in condition to supervisors.

Requirements

Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to care. Ability to monitor patients' health and report changes effectively. Knowledge of assisted living practices and patient care techniques. First aid certification is a plus but not mandatory.
