What you\'ll do
Respite Care Providers insure a safe environment offering appropriate developmental experiences for all participants during respite programs. As a care provider, you are responsible for the safe, healthy environment of clients in your care.
You will assist with setting up, implementing, and engaging with participants in activities that are appropriate for their age, skill, developmental level, and personal interests.
You will also help maintain a clean environment and assist with cleanup at the end of the respite event.
What you\'ll receive

• Earn $13 - $14 per hour
• Ability to work Monday-Friday and every other weekend if needed
• Able to work 7 days on 7 days off 12 hour shifts
• $200.00 sign on bonus after you have been with your client for 30 days with no call ins or call offs

Experience and education

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
• CPR, First Aid, and/or Crisis Prevention Intervention preferred but not required
• Experience working with individuals with special needs and/or disabilities a plus

Skill and ability
You must be able to establish and maintain rapport with clients, families, co-workers, and other agency service providers.
