Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the dining room, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Supervise and train dining room staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize customer flow
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Strong experience in kitchen operations and restaurant management
- Proven ability to supervise and lead a team effectively
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Cash handling experience, including reconciling cash drawers and processing payments
- Ability to conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically
