Title: Dimensional Inspection Programmer -- reporting to the Quality and Safety Manager, while taking day?to?day direction from the quality lead. You'll own the programming and operation of multiple CMMs, executing FAIR, sample, and final inspections for high?precision machined parts and supporting production with clear, data?driven insight.
What you'll own

Create and maintain CMM programs and scripts aligned to customer specifications.
Engineer fixtures for efficient part setup and rapid changeover.
Partner across departments for effective data and information transfer to meet customer needs and organizational objectives.
Drive continuous improvement of procedures and methods to ensure zero escapes.
Keep CMMs inspection?ready: qualify probes, perform calibrations, and clean regularly.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing engineering to optimize measurement strategies for critical, tight?tolerance features.
Verify and complete shipping documentation to certify compliance with all requirements.
Train and mentor fellow employees to elevate inspection capability.
Interpret customer specifications to define accurate inspection criteria.
Follow guidance from the quality lead and communicate status proactively.
Execute preventative maintenance on inspection equipment.
Complete paperwork and production reporting for time, attendance, and inventory with precision.
Maintain an orderly, safe work area consistent with 6S and safety standards; comply with all policies and regulations.
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
------------------
Bachelor's degree preferred; or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
At least 4 years in Quality Control or Machining.
Knowledge of manufacturing methods and logistics administration.
Demonstrated CMM operation/programming capability.
Advanced blueprint literacy with GD&T mastery and familiarity with military specifications.
Exposure to lean and quality systems preferred: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, AS9100D.
Zeiss Calypso experience preferred.
