Job Description

TRC\xe2\x80\x99s client is an established financial institution looking for a Digital Solutions Architect to join their team in the Raleigh, NC area on a full-time, direct hire basis.

As the Digital Solutions Architect, you will use your technical background, attention to detail, and strong analytical talent to design, document, and maintain the high-level structure of the organization\xe2\x80\x99s digital platforms. You will also use your strong communication skills as you work with peers and vendors to drive the architectural vision in alignment with business goals and best practices while serving as the Digital Platforms SME for architecture, infrastructure, and technical considerations.

Responsibilities:
-Design and maintain high-level structure for systems, software, service architectures, and interfaces for digital platforms that align with business goals and improve customer service.
-Define architecture, technology stack, and integration points for digital solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols.
-Develop and maintain system and solution documentation, including technical specifications, requirements, and design documentation.
-Evaluate and guide the optimization of vendors, systems, and tools, for effective management of RTOs, RPOs, and KPI performance and it relates to high availability and high performance.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions; utilize analytical thinking and problem solving to interpret processes and data, find patterns, and communicate recommendations with partners and peers.
-Serve as the digital platforms architecture, infrastructure, and technical SME.
-Communicate technical information, risks, strategies, and mitigations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-Stay current with knowledge and innovations of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in digital solutions architectures and the financial industry.

Requirements:
-10+ years of experience with the design, implementation, operation, and support of complex end-user-facing systems, server, networking, and security-based technologies, including: IIS, TCP/IP, VPNs, HTTP, X.509, XML, and JSON
-Experience with software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
-Experience with API design, RESTful web services, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions
-Experience with writing muti-table MS SQL queries, MS Office, Visio, and large-scale digital transformation project planning
-Formal training and education in technology related studies; IT related degree preferred
-Exposure to security and compliance standards, including PCI, GDPR, and SOC2
-Knowledge of the technological aspects of a financial institution is highly preferred
-Exceptional communication skills with a strong technical foundation and understanding of digital solutions architecture, design patterns, and best practices
